Super Alloy Investment Castings
Super Alloy Casting
Super Alloys are high-temperature alloys which display excellent mechanical strength, stable chemical composition and excellent creep deformation resistance. Their crystal structure is typically face-centred cubic austenitic and they get their strength from either solid solution strengthening or precipitate strengthening. Due to their unreal mechanical properties, they are used for a wide range of applications, from large-scale gas turbines, jet propulsion engines, aero land turbines, and huge corrosion-resistant vessels to small-scale components like ball bearings, screws, machine parts, etc.
Advantages of Super Alloy Casting
By working with Ronit Technomake for your next Super Alloy casting, you get the following advantages:-
- High-temperature resistance (>1300°C).
- Stable chemical composition
- Ability to remain solidified even at 80-90 % of normal melting point
- Creep resistance
- Good surface stability
- High corrosion resistance
- High oxidation resistance
