Aluminium Based Alloy Investment Castings
Aluminium Casting
Ronit Technomakle has the capabilities of producing aluminium investment castings with an exceptional surface finish and high precision. We have a reputation as a premier aluminum investment casting foundry. With capabilities of a few grams up to 10 pounds, we produce aluminum castings for many diversified industrial markets.
Aluminium or aluminum is a chemical element with symbol Al and atomic number 13. It is a silvery-white, soft, nonmagnetic and ductile metal in the boron group.
Light, durable and functional: these are the qualities that make aluminium one of the key engineering materials for various applications. We can find aluminium in the homes we live in, in the automobiles we drive, in the trains and aeroplanes that take us across long distances, in themobile phones and computers we use on a daily basis, in the shelves inside our fridges and in modern interior designs, but a mere 200 years ago very little was known about this metal.
Advantages of Aluminium Casting
First, aluminium castings can allow the attainment of complex designs and forms. This means that manufacturers can easily order customized castings that will be suitable for their production needs.
Second, aluminium castings allow producers to manufacture parts at an extremely higher and faster rate than other alloy materials. Aluminium die casting can also achieve a near net shape so the process of machining can be eliminated to produce finished parts.
Third, aluminium castings have the strength of steel but are very lightweight. The appearance and aesthetic value of aluminium parts are also superior to other metal alloys. However, aluminium die-cast parts are cheaper so end consumers can get high-quality metal products at very affordable prices.
Lastly, castings made from aluminium are versatile, corrosion resistant, and can be used for different purposes. These qualities allow manufacturers to produce multiple products using aluminium parts. The finished products also have longer lifetimes thus giving consumers more value for their money.
Applications of Aluminium Based Alloy Investment Castings
Aluminium weighs around 2.71 g/cm3, a third of the weight of steel. Its low weight makes it ideal for industries and sectors where weight is a concern, like automotive, marine, cycles etc.
while the metal is already strong, this feature can be reinforced by alloying it with other materials like copper and results in a high-strength alloy.

Aluminium Alloy Investment Casting Capabilities
We work with various grades of Cobalt-based alloys such as Cobalt 21, Stellite, Cobalt 25(L-605), Triballoy and implantable grade ASTM F-75 CoCrMo to produce parts with complex geometries and tight dimensional tolerances. When required, we conduct non-destructive testing on finished parts to ensure that the final components meet the NDT class and grade required. We can cast near-net shape cobalt-based castings with minimal secondary machining required. Standard casting tolerances are +/- .005 inches per inch.
